Lagrein Alto Adige DOC

A red wine from Cantina Bozen in Alto Adige. It shows an intense ruby colour with violet reflections, with aromas of dark fruit such as plum and blackberry, light floral notes and a hint of spice. On the palate it is full and enveloping, with perceptible but not aggressive tannins and a balance that highlights freshness. A direct, straightforward red. It pairs well with grilled meats, braised dishes, game birds and medium to long-aged cheeses, and also with mushroom dishes. A light decanting or opening a few minutes before serving is recommended; ideal serving temperature around 16-18 °C.
