A Lagrein Riserva from Ritterhof, with a deep, compact colour and an intense character. The nose brings ripe dark berries and dark cherry, with floral hints and a light spicy, earthy undertone. The palate is warm and enveloping, with firm but well-integrated tannins, freshness and a long, savoury finish with fruity returns and a dry close. It pairs well with roasts, braises, grilled meats, aged cheeses, mushroom dishes and game, and benefits from being served not too warm and allowed to breathe.
