Laird's 12 Year Old Rare Apple Brandy is an American apple brandy from Laird & Company, aged for at least twelve years in oak barrels. It is made from whole, ripe apples that are fermented and pot-distilled before maturation. Each bottle is hand-filled and hand-numbered, with a batch number, bottling date and bottle number.
The nose brings baked apple, brown sugar, caramel, vanilla and baking spices. The palate is velvety, with baked pear, spiced peach, vanilla and a hint of coconut cream. The finish is warm and lingering, with nutmeg and dried orchard fruit.
