Lambay Single Cask Strength French Oak Cognac Cask (2021) (70cl, 56.5%)

An Irish single malt from the Lambay Irish Whiskey Company, bottled at a cask strength of 56.5% from a single French oak Cognac cask, number 4613. It comes in a 70cl bottle, and 402 bottles were filled worldwide, each one individually numbered. The Cognac cask shapes the character, bringing a hint of grape juice to the nose alongside rich vanilla, ripe peach, almond and soft spices. On the palate it is full and oily, with honey, white chocolate, oak, candied citrus and nuts, and a gentle Cognac warmth. The finish is long, fruity and spicy.
