Lambay Small Batch Blend Irish Whiskey Finished in Cognac Casks (70cl, 40%)

Lambay Small Batch Blend is an Irish whiskey that combines malted and grain whiskies. It was matured in bourbon barrels, then given a final finish in Camus Cognac casks. The whiskey was aged on Lambay, a privately owned island, and comes from a collaboration between the Baring family, who own the island, and Cyril Camus of the Cognac house. It is floral and spicy, with citrus on the nose. The palate brings cracked almonds, pepper and malt alongside floral notes, and the finish is spicy with a lingering sweetness.
