This is Batch 015 of Laphroaig's 10 year old Original Cask Strength, an Islay single malt. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled at natural cask strength, which gives it greater depth and texture.
Adding a small amount of water is recommended, as the whisky at full strength can overpower the palate. Water brings out a rich aroma of peat smoke with some sweetness and strong hints of the sea.
