Laphroaig – 15 Year Old Islay Single Malt Whisky (75cl)

Laphroaig 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt that returns to the distillery's core range after an absence of ten years. It was first released in 1985, and is described as bold, coastal and uncompromising, with extra richness and balance from fifteen years of maturation. It comes in a 70cl bottle. Tasting notes begin with orange zest, grapefruit, dried hay, vanilla and a hint of clove on the nose. On the palate, smoke and sea salt lead, followed by black pepper, warming spice and subtle sweetness. The finish is long and smoky, with savoury notes, coastal salinity and a clean edge of sweetness.
