Laphroaig Cairdeas Cask Favorites 2024 is a 10 year old Islay single malt in a 700ml bottle, bottled at 52.4% ABV. This limited edition draws on the casks of two earlier releases: the 2019 Triple Wood and the 2021 PX Cask.
The whisky is a dark, rich copper in colour. The nose offers Brazil nut toffee brittle, vanilla custard and baking spice, with milk chocolate covered raisins and a hint of spiced orange. On the palate it is rich, sweet and oily, with smoked orange toffee, stewed peaches, campfire smoke, coffee grounds and liquorice root. The finish is long, slightly sweet and dry, peppery and smoky with peat.
