Laphroaig 10 Year Old is a full-bodied Islay single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the island of Islay in the Western Isles of Scotland.
The colour is a full, sparkling gold. The whisky is peaty, with a sweetness and a hint of salt running through it.
The nose is smoky and seaweedy, with a medicinal note and a touch of sweetness. On the palate, a surprising sweetness meets hints of salt and layers of peat. The finish is lingering.
