Laphroaig Limited Edition 27 Year Old is an Islay single malt matured in ex-bourbon barrels and refill quarter casks in the distillery's warehouse No. 1. It was bottled at cask strength.
The nose offers ripe tropical fruits, toasted macadamia nuts and more than a hint of vanilla cream. On the palate, smoke is tempered by lime and nectarine, giving way to sea salt and mild chilli.
