Larceny Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon (70cl, 46%)

A Kentucky straight bourbon from Larceny, made by Heaven Hill and bottled as a small batch at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a wheated bourbon: the mash bill is 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley, with wheat rather than rye as the second grain. It matures in new charred American white oak casks in Bardstown warehouses. It is chill-filtered and has no colour added. Fresh bread and toffee with a note of butterscotch on the nose. The palate brings buttery caramel and honey with a full mouthfeel, and the long finish pairs gentle sweetness with savoury notes.
