Laws Four Grain Bonded Bourbon is a bottled-in-bond bourbon from Laws Whiskey House in Denver, Colorado, bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
The mashbill combines corn, wheat, rye and malted barley, all grown on Colorado farms. It is distilled in copper pot stills and aged for at least four years in new charred American oak barrels.
Toasted caramel, dried corn husk, cinnamon, clove and raw honey mark the nose. The palate moves from brown sugar and cornbread to white pepper, rye spice and a creamy wheat texture, with toasted oak and dried stone fruit. The finish is medium to long and warming, with cinnamon bark, dark toffee and dry oak.
