Laws Whiskey House San Luis Valley Straight Rye is a straight rye whiskey bottled at 47.5% ABV.
Its grain comes from Colorado's San Luis Valley, at 8,000 feet above sea level, where the Cody family has grown a low-yield, semi-wild rye since the 1930s. The distillers were drawn to how this rye ferments and distils, and describe the result as a terroir-driven whiskey with an unapologetic character.
