The whisky spent its whole maturation in a bourbon barrel. It comes from a distillery on the south coast of Islay.
Murray McDavid was founded in early 1994 by Mark Reynier, Simon Coughlin and Gordon Wright, and became known for maturing whisky in interesting casks.
