Lecompte Calvados 12 Years Old comes from the Pays d'Auge in Normandy. It is distilled by traditional methods and aged for 12 years in oak casks. The nose shows cooked apple, cinnamon, vanilla, wood and caramel. On the palate it is rich and velvety, with a balance of sweetness and acidity, fruit, spice and smoked wood, and a long, warm finish. It suits serving as a digestif, with aged cheeses or in refined cocktails.
