A 26 year old single malt from Ledaig, the peated style made on the Isle of Mull. It was distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2022 by Loch Fyne as part of its Fynest range, at a cask strength of 65.6% abv.
The whisky spent its whole life in a single refill sherry butt, which gave 427 bottles.
Expect hints of liquorice, espresso and black pepper, with gentle waves of peat adding a further layer.
