Legent Bourbon (70cl, 47%)

Legent is a blended bourbon created jointly by Jim Beam Master Distiller Fred Noe and Suntory Chief Blender Shinji Fukuyo, bringing American bourbon-making together with Japanese whisky blending. It is bottled at 47% and comes in a 70cl bottle. It follows an unusual style of bourbon making, using an old recipe from one of the makers' families, and is aged in sherry and wine casks. The colour is golden with reddish-brown undertones. The nose balances mature oak with spice. The palate is soft and sweet, with oak, raisin, date and spice and a light acidity, and the finish has a pleasant viscosity.
