Legent Partially Finished in Wine and Sherry Casks Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (70cl, 47%)

Legent is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a joint creation of Jim Beam Master Distiller Fred Noe and Suntory Chief Blender Shinji Fukuyo, bringing together American bourbon-making and Japanese whisky blending. Part of the whiskey was finished in wine casks and sherry casks. The colour is golden with reddish-brown undertones. The nose is a balance of mature cooperage notes and spice. On the palate come oak, raisin and date, and spice, sweet with a light acidity. The finish has a pleasant viscosity from the wine-cask and sherry-cask finished whiskeys.
