Liberties Copper Alley 10 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Copper Alley is a 10 year old Irish single malt from Liberties, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The whiskey is finished in 30 year old sherry casks made from European oak. These large casks give it a deep amber colour and notes of baked plums and ripe red grapes. The nose is honey and powdered sugar with apple blossom and red fruits. On the palate come oak and golden syrup, followed by a long finish of rich dark chocolate. A drop of water is suggested to open up the aromas.
