Limeburners – Directors Cut Cask Strength Western Australian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 61%)

Limeburners Directors Cut is a cask strength single malt from Western Australia, bottled at 61% in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled in small-batch copper pot stills at Albany, on the edge of Princess Royal Harbour, from local barley and water. The malted barley is smoked with peat hand foraged from the Valley of the Giants near Albany. The whisky matured in a second-fill ex-bourbon American oak barrel and was then finished in an aged sherry cask. Neat, it shows spice and fruit aromas. A splash of water brings out malted barley and intense, complex smoke. The taste is full bodied, with a smooth finish.
