Limeburners – Port Cask Australian Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Limeburners Port Cask is an Australian single malt from the Limeburners core range, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Water is added before bottling to bring it to that strength. The whisky was first aged in ex-bourbon American oak, then matured further in an Australian Port cask. Its average age is between five and eight years. The nose offers poached pears, cinnamon, nutmeg, port-soaked raisins and tobacco. On the palate come warm caramel, quince, stewed plums, nutmeg and clove, and the finish is well rounded with a lingering sweetness.
