This is the second release in the Thiron series, an annual limited edition Highland single malt from Lindores Abbey, bottled in 2025. The series uses bespoke French Virgin Oak casks made from oak harvested in the forests of Thiron-Gardais, France. Whisky from those casks is married with whisky from first fill bourbon barrels and rejuvenated red wine barriques. It is described as a layered malt with fruit, oak and spice.
