Living Souls Lochranza 9 Year Old Single Malt Scotch (55%)

This is a 9 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran, independently bottled by Living Souls at 55% ABV. It was matured for nine years in first-fill bourbon barrels. The whisky balances fruit and sweetness with gentle smoke and a subtle coastal character. The nose is buttery toffee, candied citrus, vanilla cream and soft oak, with delicate hints of smoke. The palate is rich and fruit-forward, with pineapple, ripe peaches, honeydew melon and creamy vanilla over a gentle smoky undertone. The finish is light but lingering, with soft fruit sweetness, citrus zest, toasted oak and a trace of smoke.
