This is a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, released under the Lochindaal name and bottled independently by Berry Bros. & Rudd. The Lochindaal style is typically peated to around 50ppm. It was distilled in 2010 and matured for 10 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel, cask 4348, then bottled at a cask strength of 60.2% ABV. The notes describe camphor, damp wool, bonfire ash and fireworks, with a smoky intensity and a coastal influence.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
