Lochlea 7 Year Old Single Estate is a Lowland single malt made entirely on the distillery's Ayrshire estate. It was distilled in 2018 and released in January 2026 as a limited edition.
The whisky matured for seven years in seven first-fill bourbon casks kept in traditional dunnage warehouses. It is bottled at 50% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose offers stewed apples, soft vanilla and sweet cereal. The palate is full-bodied and creamy, with tropical fruit and vanilla custard, and the finish is long and warming, with buttery pastry and tart green apple.
