Lochlea – 7 Year Old (70cl, 50%)

Lochlea 7 Year Old is a single malt from the Ayrshire distillery, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. Distilled in 2018 and released in January 2026, it is the oldest age statement the distillery has released so far. Around 2,000 bottles were made. The whisky was matured in seven hand-selected first-fill Bourbon casks. It is of natural colour and non-chill filtered. The notes describe cream, tropical fruit and baked apple on the nose. The palate is soft and creamy, with orchard fruit, stewed apple and light oak spice.
