Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 2 is the second in the distillery's annual cask strength releases, bottled at 60% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a single malt Scotch whisky, made without colouring or chill-filtration.
The whisky was matured in three cask types: 60% PX sherry, 28% Oloroso sherry and 12% STR. That heavy sherry cask presence gives this batch a bolder, weightier profile.
