Dark Briar is a Lochlea single estate single malt, one of the first whiskies the farm distillery presented for its core range, in 2025.
It was distilled entirely from barley grown on the farm itself. Maturation combined three kinds of cask: Pedro Ximénez sherry butts, Oloroso sherry butts and port casks. It is bottled in natural colour and without chill-filtration.
