Lochlea – Fallow Edition 1st Crop Lowlands Single Malt

Lochlea Fallow Edition 1st Crop is a Lowlands single malt and the distillery's third seasonal limited edition. It takes its inspiration from autumn on the farm, when the barley fields are left fallow to rest, and the purple label reflects the colour of the fallen leaves. It is the first Lochlea matured exclusively in ex-Oloroso sherry casks. The nose offers ripe red fruits and freshly baked banana bread. The palate has dried fruit, leather and malt biscuits. The finish is of medium length, with aniseed and rose petals.
