Lochlea Fallow Edition 2nd Crop is a Lowland single malt from the farm distillery Lochlea, part of its seasonal series. It is bottled at 46%, in a 70cl bottle. The style is fruity and spicy, with dark fruit, toffee and baked apple meeting malty sweetness, nuts and spice, and a slightly dry note of cask in the aftertaste. The nose offers dark fruit, toffee, baked apple and spice. The palate is of caramel, dried fruit, nuts and malty sweetness. The finish is medium in length, spicy and lightly dry.
