Lochlea First Crop Ploughing is a peated Lowland single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is the distillery's first peated expression. The whisky is matured in ex-Islay barrels and peated quarter casks. It is inspired by winter on the farm, when the fields are ploughed ready for spring, and is a warming, smoky take on the Lochlea house style. The icy blue label reflects the cold, frosty winters of Ayrshire.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
