Lochlea Harvest Edition 2023 is a single malt from the Lowland distillery, bottled at 46% ABV. It was matured in a combination of Tawny and Ruby Port barriques and first-fill Bourbon casks.
This is the Second Crop release of the Harvest Edition. It uses a much higher share of Port casks, because the spirit is a year older and was thought strong enough to take the richness and intensity those casks add. The Lochlea expressions are made to reflect the farming calendar of the working farm where the whisky is produced.
