This is the second release in the annual Harvest Edition series from Lochlea, the farm distillery in Ayrshire. For this edition the distillery left out sherry casks and used more port casks, including tawny and ruby.
The single malt matured in port hogsheads, STR casks and first-fill bourbon barrels. It was bottled at 46% ABV, without colouring and without chill-filtration.
