Lochlea – Orchard and Oak Single Estate Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is a Lowland single malt from Lochlea Distillery, introduced in 2025 as part of its permanent Single Estate range. It uses barley grown on the distillery's Ayrshire farm and comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. The whisky is matured in first-fill bourbon, virgin American oak and Calvados casks, and bottled without chill filtration or added colouring. The nose is sweet orchard apples and freshly cut grass, with light floral aromas and hints of vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, fresh green apples and creamy caramel sit alongside buttery apple cake and gentle oak spice. The finish is medium to long, with sweet oak, caramel and delicate warming spice.
