Lochlea – Orchard & Oak

Lochlea Orchard & Oak is a single estate Scotch malt and a new addition to the distillery's core range. It was matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon, virgin American oak and Calvados casks. Fresh apple, buttery caramel and sweet oak run through it, with a soft grassy freshness and a spiced finish. The nose is sweet with apple, earthy and floral, with fresh-cut grass. The palate offers green apples, buttery caramel and oaky spice, with apple cake and cream. The finish brings sweet oak, caramel and light cereal.
