Lochlea Our Barley Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Our Barley is the first core single malt released by Lochlea, an independent, family-owned distillery in Ayrshire. The distillery grows its own barley and matures all its casks on site. This one is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and at natural colour. The whisky is matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and STR casks. The nose is described as pear syrup and fruit bon bons, with zesty marmalade and cinnamon. On the palate come fresh fruit and cereal with golden syrup. The finish brings macadamia nuts, cream soda and a lasting orange beeswax note.
