Lochlea Our Barley is the first bottling in the core single malt range from Lochlea. It was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry casks and STR barriques, and is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered, with no added colouring.
The nose brings pear syrup, fruit bonbons, warm cut grass and marmalade. On the palate there are golden syrup, pepper, rye bread, macadamia nuts and cream soda. The finish is long, with a lasting note of orange beeswax.
