Lochlea – Ploughing Edition 1st Crop Lowlands Single Malt Scotch Whisky (46%)

Ploughing Edition is the fifth official release from Lochlea, a farm distillery in the south of Scotland. It is the fourth bottling in the distillery's first annual series of seasonal limited editions, which follows the rhythm of the farming year. This one takes its inspiration from winter, when fields are ploughed ready for spring sowing. It is the first Lochlea whisky matured in ex-Laphroaig casks, which gives gently but unmistakably peaty notes. John Campbell oversaw it personally. It is bottled at 46%, without chill filtration or added colour.
