Lochlea – Smoke without Fire

Lochlea Smoke without Fire is a Lowland single malt and a smoky addition to the distillery's core range. It was matured in refill bourbon casks that previously held peated whisky, together with selected red wine casks. The aim is smoke that stays gentle, so that it sits alongside fruit and sweetness rather than covering them. Tasting notes describe soft red fruit, floral sweetness and the mild smoke of a campfire.
