Lochlea Sowing Edition First Crop is the first release in the distillery's seasonal limited-edition series, which follows the farming calendar. It stands for spring, when barley is sown across Lochlea Farm.
The whisky was matured only in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled at 48% ABV, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
It is described as having orchard fruits, citrus, creamy vanilla and a soft sweetness.
