Sowing Edition Second Crop is a seasonal single malt from Lochlea, released to mark spring. It was matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels and bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose is creamy and fresh with cereal notes, orchard and stone fruits, and soft peach at the front. The palate offers stewed apples, blonde toffee, toasted hazelnuts, spicy oak and vanilla.
The finish is long, with home baking spices and soft stone fruits.
