Lochlea Sowing Edition Second Release 2022 is a Lowland single malt inspired by spring around the Lochlea distillery, when the seed for the year's barley harvest is sown. Lochlea is an independent, family-owned distillery.
The whisky was matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, with 7000 bottles filled.
It is described as light and refreshing, with pears, butter-baked biscuits, raspberries and green apples.
