Lochlea – Sowing Edition Third Crop (46%)

This is a Lowland single malt from the independent, family-run Lochlea distillery, released as a seasonal small batch. The Sowing Edition reflects spring on Lochlea Farm, when the barley is sown. It matured wholly in first-fill bourbon casks and is bottled at 46%, without chill-filtering or added colour. Almond and rose petal open the nose. On the palate come apple blossom, white pepper and crisp pear, and the soft finish recalls freshly cut grass and warm straw.
