Los Siete Misterios Barril (70cl)

Los Siete Misterios Barril is a Mexican mezcal made from the Barril variety of agave, in a 70cl bottle. It is made by traditional methods: earth-pit ovens, hand milling, natural fermentation and double distillation in copper or clay stills. The nose opens with butter and spices such as cinnamon and aniseed, then fruit, citrus and lychee, with cooked agave and incense in the background. The palate is powerful and long-lasting, with spicy and smoky echoes.
