The Hold Up is a nine-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Lucky Seven Spirits, bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). It is one of the original expressions in the Lucky Seven range.
On the nose it offers caramel, vanilla bean cream, Luxardo cherries, cedar and pine, along with pipe tobacco, white chocolate-covered cherries and smoked spiced pecans. The palate is silky and coating, with clove candy and milk chocolate. The finish is long and layered, returning to pipe tobacco with cigar box, fresh mint, dark chocolate and allspice.
