Lustau Vermut Rojo Red is a Spanish red vermouth from Jerez, made from wines aged in the traditional solera and criaderas system. It is bottled at 15%.
The colour is a warm mahogany with slightly red reflections.
The nose combines ripe, sweet fruit recalling plums and dates with fresh citrus, subtle herbs and a hint of smoked wood. The palate is velvety and aromatic, balancing sweetness and bitter notes. A light bitterness runs into a nutty finish.
