A 12 year old single malt from Macallan, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in Oloroso sherry seasoned American and European oak casks. The American oak brings vanilla, citrus and butterscotch, while rich fruits, sherry and ginger sit behind them. The colour is described as Harvest Sun.
The nose is creamy butterscotch with toffee apple, candied orange, vanilla custard and newly felled oak. The palate is honeyed, with ginger and citrus balanced by raisins and caramel. The finish is warm, sweet and drying, with oak lingering.
