Macallan 12 Year Old Triple Cask is a blend of whiskies matured in three kinds of cask: sherry-seasoned European oak, sherry-seasoned American oak and American ex-bourbon oak. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings gingerbread, vanilla essence, buttered toast and whipped cream. On the palate come raisin, ginger and citrus, with a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is of gentle cedar and honey.
