This is a 15 year old Macallan from the 1984 vintage, matured in Jerez sherry casks and bottled in 1999. It is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle. Macallan's spirit stills are small, at 3,900 litres, which gives a rich and oily new make. The distillery matures mostly in large ex-sherry casks made of European and American oak.
