Macallan Classic Cut 2022 is the 2022 release in the distillery's annual Classic Cut series of Speyside single malt, bottled at 52.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is matured in sherry-seasoned oak, mainly American and European oak casks.
The nose has sweet orange zest, fresh ginger and vanilla bean, with polished oak and dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied and warm, with dark chocolate, treacle and spiced apple, then toasted almond, citrus and cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, with sweet oak, dried fruit and gentle spice.
